Spring Break in Seattle

I had a great weekend of fun in Seattle. Christina and I saw “Hello, Dolly!” the musical (where the music from Wall•E came from), checked out various touristy sites in downtown Seattle, the Woodland Park Zoo », and Lilli Ann’s Waltzmania workshop. I met up with Suporn who took me out for Thai food and tea, and with Jess to the Boeing Factory Tour. Such a fun weekend!

Lunch at Pike Place Market with Christina. We had Beecher’s home-made mac and cheese (Yummy! I know it’s just mac-and-cheese but it’s gooood!) and lots of bakery from Piroshky Piroshky (We were greedy and ordered waaaay more than we could handle).

Jess and John at Kowan Thai for dinner. Watch out for Jess flying the Boeing-727 jet! Look ahead Jess! No no not at the camera!!!

Suporn took me out for lunch (even though she has a looming conference paper deadline!). I left the ordering to Suporn since she always knows the good food! We had green curry fried rice and seafood pancakes–Mmm Deeeeelicious! As for dessert, sticky rice with mango. Yum!

On the last night, salty fried chicken and bubble tea at Mee Sum Pastry with Christina… and playing Chinese Checkers with Hong Kong-style rules. I didn’t even know there’s a “Hong Kong” rule in checkers. Hmm… lest Christina was making it up! :O
