I turned the big Three-O this weekend! The potluck group sang an early Happy Birthday to me (in Mandarin in Taiwan time!). Thanks to Hannie, Lu-en, and Jing Yan for trying out the mala hotpot with me on the birthday itself. Thanks to Danse Libre for the birthday dance (and Jeff for leading the inside turns and outside turns and more turns… and Laura for the pivots!). Also, to Lewis and Yinnah for taking me out for paella! It was yummy! Haven’t had such good paellas since Spain 2002!

    Haha… Yeah, you and Lewis looked awesome!!! Maybe I should spend even MORE time taking photos before dinner next time. The anticipation of such-a-delicious-paella-on-the-table-but-Jason-STILL-not-putting-down-his-camera adds to the characters!
