Come Dance with Us!

Photographed above, Danse Libre waltz’ed, schottisched, and polka’ed at Google Oktoberfest this afternoon. Joining us were Googlers learning to polka and chicken dance (some for the first time!).

We are a vintage dance troupe that enjoy bringing history to life. We choreograph and perform, in period costumes, dances from the 1800s Victorian Era (waltz, polka, redowa, can-can, etc.), 1910s Ragtime Era (tango, foxtrot, one-step, etc.), and the 1920s & 1930s (charleston, big apple, etc..).

Danse Libre is currently looking for dancers for our 2009-2010 season. If you are interested, please visit Danse Libre Audition »

Become a fan of Danse Libre on Facebook if you would like to receive up-to-date information about our upcoming performances.
