About me

Welcome to my homepage.

I am a Taiwanese-Canadian currently in the PhD Program in Computer Science at Stanford Unversity in sunny California.

My favorite past time is social couple dancing. In the evenings and weekends, you can usually find me at Jammix, Friday Night Waltz, Dancebreak, or a variety of social dance events in the San Francisco Bay Area (or sometimes further away).

I am interested in and fascinated by ballroom dancing from the Regency Era in the nineteenth century: Waltz, Redowa, Mazurka, Schottische, Can Can, etc. I am a member of The Academy of Danse Libre, a vintage dance performance group. I created a page for Russian Mazurka Quadrille, choreographed by Richard Powers, as part of my digital art class in 2007. Mazur-Mazurka by Raymond Cwieka contains one of the most extensive collection of dance manuals on mazurkas.
